My Hair Guru – Booking & Cancellation Policies

Dear Guests,

We have put a number of policies in place to help with the smooth running of our business.

We kindly ask that you read through the following information prior to your next visit to My Hair Guru. 

Please let us know if you change your phone number or email address, so we can easily contact you about your appointment.  Thank you.

Deposits

To secure your appointment at My Hair Guru, we may require a booking deposit when you book online. This deposit will come off your final bill and helps us reserve your time with our team.

All appointments require a 50% deposit based on the cost of your chosen service.  Thank you for your co-operation. 

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours before your appointment.

  • If you give 48 hours’ notice or more, your deposit will be fully refunded or transferred to a future booking.
  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit becomes non-refundable.
  • If you do not attend your appointment without notice, your deposit will be lost.

Guests who fail to attend an appointment will need to pay in full in advance for any future bookings. We do understand that emergencies can happen, and we always aim to be fair and understanding.

Colour Appointments & Skin Allergy Testing

For your safety, all guests must complete a skin allergy test at least 48 hours before their colour appointment if they:

  • are having a colour service for the first time, or
  • have not had a colour appointment with us in the last 6 months
  • are planning to change their hair colour.

If you fail to attend your allergy test in time, your appointment will have to be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
